Jeffrey Epstein bought a smaller island - Little St James - back in the late 1990s, but subsequently obtained the more expansive adjacent island in 2016 for approximately $22.5 million.
This visual evidence suggest he had drawn up plans to transform the 161-acre island by constructing residences, an open-air theater, an submerged workspace and a swimming pool.
