In a surprising crossover event that challenges usual predictions, the game developer has announced an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Disclosed

According to the official release, "An unusual meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where rumors of banned practices and fearsome changes resonate through the shadows." The narrative presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine cult.

The mission focuses on "strange trials and a monstrous enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Changes

The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Additional Content

Players who successfully complete the quest will receive an exclusive katana in addition to several items secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
